Gunnar's Story (donations welcome)

Gunnar came from a breeder who was going to put him down because he may have had a stroke at birth and "wasn't quite right" after that. From boss to employee to mother to daughter the word spread until Another Chance was notified and contacted Katie Ball. Now the transition has begun to move Gunnar to his new forever home at the Love Your Pet Expo Sanctuary for Special Needs Animals. Here are some more photos of this adorable pup.
Gunnar is 9 weeks old in this photo. Gunnar was bred for hunting. But since he was too long in the birth canal, he suffered from lack of oxygen. This caused him to lose his sight and to have seizures. When he feels good, he is "all puppy". He likes to run, play and get into mischief. He listens well for the sounds of footsteps and follows along. He is learning to avoid running into objects.
Our sanctuary runs on donations.
