We are moving the sanctuary to a piece of property with more acreage.

Because we are a forever home for special needs animals, we need plenty of room for them to roam and be comfortable.

The back acre needed fencing and cross-fencing. We finished this project using volunteers and students from the community. Unfortunately, this project it took twice as long and cost twice as much as we budgeted. That could mean giving up something else later on.

Moving day for the horses!

Here they are leaving their old home for the last time with their good friend Gladys (the goat).

The move went very smoothly, thanks to Safe Haven Horse Rescue.

Here they are, arriving at their new home.

Now they need a barn.

We need to build a dog shelter with grass area that can be used to rotate our blind dogs. By rotating the dogs we can keep the grass alive giving them a nice area to run and play. Because blind dogs cannot see shade we need to make sure this area is set up for their needs.

We will be building an indoor/outdoor cattery so our special needs cats can enjoy the feel of grass, and the sounds and smells of the outside world. Right now, they are strictly inside kitties.
